Ivy guard Stir Fry / Kovakai Stir Fry

Ingredients :

1 Cup Ivy guard, chopped
1 Small size Onion, chopped
3 Garlic pods, chopped
1 Tsp pepper powder
Salt to taste
1/2 Tbsp Oil

Method :

Heat oil in a pan and add garlic followed by curry leaves.


Add the chopped onions and saute till it turns light golden brown.


Now add the chopped Ivy guard / Kovakai followed by pepper powder and salt.


Sprinkle little water, cover and cook for 2 minutes.
Serve as side dish with sambhar rice, rasam  rice and curd rice.

  1. kovakkai is my fav and it goes well with chapati and sambar rice.. the addition of potato will make it more tasty...
