Sprouts & Strawberry Masala Papad / Diet Friendly Recipe - 76 / #100dietrecipes


Wanna enjoy interesting and healthy mid - morning or evening snacks ? Then, try this colorful and flavorful masala papad using sprouts and strawberries. The tangy and sweet taste of strawberry blends well the raw onion mixture and gives a delicious snack. I have used mixed sprouts in this recipe which can also be prepared with single sprouts. To make it more nutritious, include veggies like grated carrot, grated beetroot, chopped cucumber etc.


Ingredients :

1 Onion, Finely chopped 
1 Tomato, Finely chopped 
2 Green chillies, Finely chopped 
10 Strawberry, Finely chopped 
1/4 Cup Mixed Sprouts 
1/4 Cup Corn kernels 
3 Tbsp Spring onion leaves, finely chopped 
1 Tsp Chaat masala to sprinkle  
4 Papads ( Round shaped ) 

Method :

Roast papad on a direct flame without oil and keep aside.

Add the chopped onion in a bowl along with tomato, green chillies, strawberry and few spring onion leaves.

Microwave corn kernels and sprouts for couple of minutes.

Add the sprouts and corn to the onion - tomato mixture.

Add chaat masala and mix well.

Take one papad and spread the sprouts - strawberry mixture on it evenly.

Sprinkle the remaining spring onion leaves.

Repeat the process for the remaining papads.

Serve.
