While blogging yesterday, happened to see crispy wheat dosa from one of my favourite blogger. Just loved it. My all time favourite is dosa and especially the crispy one...till yest never knew that we can prepare such crispy dosa using wheat which tasted like crispy rawa dosa for me and it was heavenly.

This is the site of such lovely dosa...Thanks poornima for sharing this...We enjoyed so much and my hubby asked me to include this dosa in our weekly menu.
We tasted this dosa with spicy onion chutney.
Here is the recipe for onion chutney...
Ingredients :
2 Onions, chopped
5 Dry red chillies
Small piece of tamarind
Salt to taste
1 Tbsp oil
For Tempering :
1 Tbsp Gingelly oil
1 Tsp Mustard seeds
1 Tsp Urad dal
Method :
Heat oil in pan and add chopped onions.
Saute well for 3 mins, remove and keep aside. Add red chillies to the pan and fry them for a minute.
Cool onions and redchillies for few minutes.
Grind them together along with tamarind and salt into smooth paste by adding little water.
Meanwhile, heat gingelly oil in pan and add mustard seeds, after spluttering add the urad dal.
Now add this tempering to the chutney and serve with dosa or idly.
