Pudina Groundnut chutney

My usual pudina chutney got i felt like experimenting with my regular pudina chutney...added some groundnuts.... Just loved the taste and my husband loved it... he has a big time aversion for pudina... but he relished this chutney...

Served with dosa and even tried it as a spread for my sandwich... was Yum!!!

Ingredients :

1 bunch pudina
1 cup roasted peanuts
5 dry red chillies
small piece of tamarind
4 pods of garlic
1 tbsp oil
Salt to taste

For Tempering :
1 tbsp Gingelly oil
1 tsp mustard seeds
1 tsp urad dal

Preparation :

Heat oil in kadai and add pudina, fry them for few mins , remove and keep aside.
Repeat the process for garlic and red chillies.
Roast the peanuts and remove the skin.
Add peanuts and remaining ingredients and grind into smooth paste with little water.
For tempering, heat oil in kadai and add mustard seeds and urad dal. Add to the chutney and serve with hot dosa or idly.
